As part of our desire to see women thrive and grow, the women’s entrepreneurs’ forum, provides funding andsupport for breast and cervical cancer research, screening and treatment. Through our sister project SAY IT LOUD. (for details visit www.sayitloudng.org) A percentage of all income made from the women entrepreneurs forum, is used to provide free screening and treatment to women at our partnering organization, optimal cancer care foundation (for details click on www.optimalcancercare.org) .

Say It Loud is a non –profit, social service project, that focuses on ensuring that people live long and robust lives by encouraging behavioral patterns that  guarantees this. From research, we understand that most diseases are activated by the individual’s life style.  We are extremely concerned about cancer and are very passionate and committed to reducing the occurrence of cancer especially breast and cervical cancer because of the increasing number of lives lost through this disease. It is on record, that cancer kills more people in Nigeria, than any other ailment with over 10,000 new deaths recorded every year. Cervical cancer which is the number one killer of women in Nigeria and breast cancer, which is the most common malignant cancer,  are particularly worrisome because, they show no symptoms until the disease has reached an advanced phase and at that stage, cure is almost always not possible. Most women when diagnosed of advanced cervical cancer are usually shocked because hitherto that moment, they had no indication that anything was medically wrong with them.

 Amazingly, breast and even cervical cancer can be prevented if detected early. That’s why we are saying it loud against cancer. We believe that if we keep quiet, cancer will keep on speaking and clamming lives daily.
